Hurricane Why Does Man Need Hurricanes?

After seeing the violence with which nature releases its pressure-valve in the form of hurricanes, one can understand the great need of nature to have some way to vent this abundant energy. Tropical Storms and depressions are necessary in order to bring rain to areas along the coast. Past hurricanes have been responsible for breaking droughts. For example, a serious drought in Texas was brought to an end by the rains from Hurricane Allen and Tropical Storm Danielle in the summer of 1980. In the coastal areas of the United States, many things, such as ranching and agriculture, are dependent on water resources from hurricanes. Tropical storms and hurricanes flush pollutants from bays. Sand is carried from the continental shelf to the beaches. These are natural benefits from hurricanes and tropical storms.
